Designed for people living with Type 1, Type 2, pre-diabetes, gestational diabetes, and those supporting loved ones, the platform enables members to connect through community feeds, profiles, rich posts, shared experiences, tips, recipes, and ongoing conversations in a welcoming mobile environment.

Outcome
A purpose-built health community that transforms an often individual journey into a more connected experience — giving members a dedicated place to share, learn, support one another, and feel part of a wider diabetes community.

- Built the cross-platform mobile experience in Flutter around community-first interaction
- Developed social feeds and rich-post experiences for sharing stories, tips, recipes, and community knowledge
- Implemented member profiles to give users an identity within the DiaHive community
- Integrated Supabase to support application data and connected social experiences
- Implemented notification flows to bring members back to relevant conversations and community activity
- Designed the experience around connection and peer support rather than positioning the application as a clinical diabetes-management tool
